I'm Back

And I'm leaving again...

Hello and happy Spring!

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve written anything. Not for lack of wanting, there’s just been too much in my mind and too little time.

Believe it or not, I have been quite busy at work. And have been pursuing work as a personal stylist. Exciting!

I’ve been working, traveling, running all up, over, and around San Francisco, and, above all, thinking about what to wear.

I have two consecutive packing lists going for two trips I am taking this month.

Actually, it’s three packing lists. Another for a big Euro trip I’m taking in June, but that’s a post for another day.

I am quite excited, and feel very lucky to be able to do all this.

I thought I would write a bit about how I approach packing for these weird, temperamental months. Living in California, you never know what to expect from the weather in May and June (May Gray and June Gloom :/).

Trip One: Disneyland!!

Memorial day weekend LA road trip!

Need to pack for: Disney, Beach, Driving days

Taking into consideration: Weather, sunburn, swimming

Want to incorporate: Bright colors, breathable layers

My inspo:

Trip Two: Wedding

I am a bridesmaid in a friend from college’s wedding and I am so thrilled!

Need to pack for: Wedding day (duh), Travel days, Tooling around the PNW

Taking into consideration: Bridesmaid outfit takes priority in luggage, small hike?, hair

Want to incorporate: Comfortable but chic

Can you tell I’m really into mini skirts right now?

Anyways, my goal over the next month is to actually photograph my outfits so I can start sharing them on here. Cause what good is it for me to talk about all this if I can’t show anything for it?
