Scarves for Summer

How many ways can I wear a scarf in one day?

How many ways can one person wear a little scarf at Disneyland?

Turns out, quite a few.

Everyone say thank you to my beautiful friends for remembering to take pictures throughout the day!

To start, a classic.

Scarf tied around my head, sitting nicely to bring the red accent up my body, preserving my curls, and protecting my scalp from the Anaheim sun.

Lunch time, getting a little Rosie the Riveter.

Hair needed to be off my neck immediately! Tied upside down and knotted at the crown of my head, allowing a halo for a messy updo.

She’s cute, a little retro, and not very rollercoaster-proof (see photo below). But, I felt a little mid-day refresh making a minor change to my look (i.e., silhouette).

And to end off the day at golden hour (with a mandatory photoshoot break), a little neckerchief moment. Hair is still up, but temps are dropping and it’s the point of the day where I feel it necessary to switch up my look again. See: cross-body bag secured, neck covered, and sweater fully buttoned up.

A wonderful day that I felt very well-equipped for in terms of outfit. I had my layers, that offered variation and protection.

The time has finally come, I am now in the deep end of packing for Euro trip!

And am pleased to say that the scarf will be travelling abroad with me.
